My mom gave me a Certificate for Savings Account issued by Decatur Savings and Loan Association of Decatur, Texas. It was issued September 30, 1966 for amount of 500.00. Is it still good? I know the ownership has changed hands a few times, but aren't they still obligated to honor this certificate?
