My Grandmother had an account with this bank for years, both a savings and a checking with a safe deposit box. My grandmother passed away in August 1998, and the account was left and the bank closed. What happened to her accounts and all of her monies? Why was no one on any of her accounts notified of how to recover her money

My name was on her accounts and why was I not contacted by Home Federal Savings and Loan Association of Chicago. I last withdrew money from her account in the form of a cashier's check, to pay for her funeral services.
