Wondering 1) who originally owned or opened Tulsa's North Side State Bank in 1958 (a family? An individual?), and 2) if the bank provided loans for homes and businesses to Black families (if so, about what percentage of the clientele was Black?). Our (white) parents went through North Side State Bank to secure their loan for their first home that year.

Going though an old house built a long time ago I found a checkbook to a couple that lived Tulsa, still in good condition with at least 4 pages of ledger on what they purchased and how much money they had. There is also about 30 unused perfectly good looking checks in it too...Any museums around there be interested? Its the green checkbook with the logo on it!
