This was a fantastic bank to work for. It was my first fulltime job after college. It was small and personable but big on incredible ideas about what banking should be to the consumer. Banking hours were 8 am to 7pm M-F and 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday. They managed these service hours by splitting the shifts and overlapping the busiest hours from 10 am to 5 pm and using a 7.5 your work day with an hour off each day for the Saturday hours. Also, SNB offered drive thru banking with four stations operating at one time. ATM banking was also being developed and tested on selected customers before making it available to everyone. By the way, this was done with a staff of nine people. Management consists of four, two operations and two platform with two additional platform personal bankers and three tellers. Security National Bank was really innovative for its time, it was 1978. Unfortunately, I only left because I was accepted to graduate school in San Diego but I could have made this company a long-term employment opportunity.
