I have a real estate file that has an old (1983) open mortgage with United Penn Bank that was never satisfied in Lackawanna County.
I can prepare the satisfaction piece, but I need to know what bank in merged with and where to send the satisfaction piece?

I have an old savings act from United Penn which does not show closure or final withdraw. The last activity was in 1980. How can I find if this account was actually closed or remains active through another bank
